Rentals

What’s included:

• Your choice of hybrid, alloy or carbon road bike sized to your height
• Bike delivery to SOMO Village on Saturday, September 12
• Bike pickup from SOMO Village on Sunday, September 13
• Bikes come with:
  • Your choice of pedals (Look Keo, SPD-SL, SPD, cages, flats or bring your own for our mechanic to install)
  • Helmet
  • Small seat bag that contains a multitool and gear to change a flat tire (spare tube, tire levers, patch kit & CO2 with inflator)

Bike Costs:

• $99 for a hybrid bike
• $119 for a alloy road bike
• $139 for an carbon road bike

Terms:

• We are only providing for rentals for the shorter 20-mile & 40-mile routes starting at SOMO Village. If you plan to ride the longer 86-mile or 100-mile routes do NOT rent from us - rent from Sports Basement in the Presidio instead.
• BOOKING: You must book and pre-pay for a bike beforehand. We will only have bikes for those who have prearranged and prepaid for a rental. We have a limited supply of bikes and historically have sold out of most sizes of road bikes.
  • Once you submit the request form, by the next business day we will send you an email with the size and style bike we have held for you along with the link to submit payment and sign our waiver. You'll have 24 hrs from then to pay for the rental and sign the waiver, otherwise your rental will be cancelled.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once you have paid and signed the waiver
• FITTING: Our mechanic will be on site on Saturday, but will only be able to do a basic fitting, adjusting the seat height and installing your pedals if needed.
• CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • Should you cancel: From time of booking until 30 days prior to rental start there is a $25 cancellation fee. Within 30 days of rental start there are no refunds.
  • Should the event be cancelled: We will refund you in full.
• All renters must sign our online rental agreement & liability waiver assuming responsibility for the bike.
• IMPORTANT: You must present your photo ID when you pickup your bike.

• A carbon road bike, alloy road bike, or performance hybrid bike. Road bikes are endurance geometry most similar to Cannondale Synapse. Hybrids are most similar to a Cannondale Quick 3
• Bikes come with:
  • Your choice of pedals (Look Keo, SPD-SL, SPD, cages, flats or bring your own)
  • Helmet
  • Small seat bag that contains a multitool and gear to change a flat tire (spare tube, tire levers, patch kit & CO2 with inflator)/
• FREE delivery to the Climate Ride Pre Ride Shuttle on May 17
• FREE pickup after the Climate Ride finish

• $179 for an alloy road bike
• $159 for a performance hybrid
